7.1 Coaching - Betty Ann
In regards to certification of AA coaches, we were the only region to have everyone
certified! Remember to nominate for Coach of the Year award. Deadline is April 1st, send
to either Brian or Mary. Coaches for the Regionals will need proper certification.
7.2 Adult Development
$825 and $875 fees for the Provincials in Markham
7.3 Membership Services - Brian

7.4 Officiating - Jeff
He has 35 officials signed up for the Regionals, needs approximately 10 more. Case
books are available. Thank you to all who helped with the prelims. Remember, the
Regionals is an excellent time to get yourself evaluated.
7.5 Sport Development
7.6 Elite - Luc
The issue of the Region Teams to either become a Belle AAA league or go with the program the way it has been played with Challenge Cups. Discussion.

That we maintain status quo on the Triple A program as per ORA Manual. Carried.

Rogers Cable has shown a ringette tape of Tillsonburg, great advertising

Lucky Clark - coach of the Regional Team - age group of 17 years and under, registration by July
15th by Donna Jones. A notice will be given out at the Annual General Meeting. Luc says that
ORA will be sending out a mailing also. Possible addition of one more man and woman to the
The Regionals will start on Friday, March 23rd at 9:00 a.m. Registration is at the Albert McCormick
arena on Thursday, 7-9 p.m. Come and register before your first game. If you are convening an
arena, pick-up the night before. Prices of Bunnies of $175, Minor teams $425 and Adult teams
$450. The tournament follows ORA rules. Western Region Code of Conduct will be adhered to.
We need timekeepers, must have experience - call Ginette immediately. All bunnies games will be
held on Sunday. Add Waterloo to host an arena. 138 teams are coming that weekend. Cost of
prelims teams will be the same as Regional teams. Chatham will host the prelims for 2002.
Provincial A cost is $900 and AA cost is $950. Schedules were handed out - 1 per association.
