A thank you is extended to London for hosting the Challenge Cup.

Mark on your calendars, Ontario Winter Games will be played at the Hespler Arena in Cambridge on March 7-10th.

The newly formed 'A' League has been a great success this year. There will be an 'A' League in the 2002-2003 season.

8. New Business:

London is hosting the Provincial 'AA' February 28th - March 3rd. Deadline of January 28th to purchase an advertise in their program. They are asking for your support throughout the Ringette Community.

Substitute for one (1) tournament for players - clarification on goalies. discussion

All the Petite teams not allowed to participate in this years 'A' Provincials. (6 region teams+ 1 host team)

9. Announcements:

  1. Stratford - March 14th - 17th, 2002 - hosting the Provincials 'A'
  2. London - February 28th - March 3rd - hosting the Provincials 'AA'
  3. London is the host for the 2003 Provincials, both 'A' and 'AA'. Please support these associations, through advertising in their programs. Thank you.
  4. Agnes Jacks - is receiving the Order of Canada
  5. Volunteer Recognition Awards - see pg 23 in the ORA manual under Membership Services, please send your nominations with resumes to your applicable Co-ordinator by April 1st e.g, an official to Jeff Clark, Officiating Co-ordinator and then they will pass on to Mary.

10. Games & Tournament - Ginette/Keith

$900 and $950 for Provincial fees. On Sunday, a decision will be made for 'A' wild card for all levels - most up to-date stats - minimum of 2 tournaments attended.

Hudson Travel must be used for booking your accommodations.

Regionals - all associations will bring their cheques ($200 non-refundable deposit) forward, write teams on the back of cheques.

Each team are asked to donate a gift for the gift table. Bring to the next meeting or at the Thursday night registration at the Regionals.

Petite A and Tween A in favour of participating at the Regionals to wrap up the season (teams that don't move on to the Provincials).

Prelims - Keith has package outlining tie breaking rules, overtime, Championship rule as per ORA manual, schedules, etc.,



Next meeting is to be held in Stratford at the Spruce Lodge on Thursday, March 7th, 2002.

**Please note the High School Ringette Tournament has been changed to March 27th. All interested schools should send their fax numbers to Anne Verhoeve at in order to receive a registration form.
