Minutes

October 13, 2009

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm.

1. Attendance

Chatham, Dorchester, Elora Fergus, Exeter, Guelph, Kitchener, London, Mitchell, St. Marys, Stratford, Waterloo, David Kelton (President), Peter Westelaken (Past President), Mike Guiler (2^nd vice), Cathy Daultrey (Secretary), Keith Kaiser (Membership Service), Mary Kaiser (Elite), Nancy Houghtling

2. Any Requests for items to be added to the agenda

No requests

3. Review minutes from previous meeting – September 15, 2009

Motion to accept minutes – St Marys/Stratford

Motion carried.

4. Treasurer’s Report

Tanya has indicated that there will not be a fee increase for referees.

Lori will contact associations no longer in WORL to ask if they would like their bond money returned –

or held for future teams.

Motion: Leave the Association fees at $125.00 per team to cover the costs of referees, banners and

administration. London/Kitchener

Motion carried.

5. Scheduler’s Report

Schedule will be reviewed one last time on the WRRA website by the schedulers, then responsibility of

changes will rest with individual teams

Any changes to schedule should be reported to Tania (Referee-in-Chief) & Conveners

Schedule posted on website.

7. G & T Report

Reminder to A teams, if you are having difficulty getting into tournaments contact Nancy – please provide full documentation with respect to application and response from tournament host.

Send game sheets to Nancy only if there are any misconduct penalties or referees comments on the

game sheet.

8. Membership Services Report

Deadlines for 2 team player agreements is November 15 – get them in ASAP.

Arena audits are due

Get releases and registration in to Keith

Insurance runs from September 15, 2009 until September 14, 2010

11. New Business

Mary reminded us that the AAA team will be in St Marys through November 27-29 and

would like to encourage associations to attend and support the team.
