Western Region A/AA Officiating Payment Effective Sept 1^st 2007

Based on last season feedback, we have decided to continue with the program that we implemented last January.

1. Game Fees for all A and AA games in Western Region.

Regardless of where an official is registered, we will be paying a flat fee for all A and AA games. (This includes all exhibition games.)

Petite A, Petite AA, Tween A, Junior A - $20

Tween AA, Junior AA, Belle A, Belle AA, Open A - $25

All 20 min period games - $30

This fee will be paid by the association however they decide (monthly cheque or cash).

2. Mileage for all A and AA games in Western Region.

Mileage will be paid to all officials based on time travelled one way.

0 mins – 30 mins -- no mileage

31 mins – 1 hour -- $10

1 hour - 1.5 hours -- $15

1.5 hours – 2 hours -- $20

2 hours or more -- $25

Every Association with an A or AA put $75, for each team into the “pot”. The money in the pot will be evaluated again at the January 2008 WORL meeting. If we need to add more money to the pot to cover the remained of the season, it will be decided at that time.

This pot will be managed by the WORL league and I will pay all mileage at the end of each month. Each official will be responsible for sending me their mileage claim by the 10^th of the following month (it will be available on the Western Website next week) and I will approve it and then we will issue you a cheque.

Exhibition games will not be covered by this pot and the home association will be responsible for paying the above mileage. (RIC’s I will let you know how much your mileage fee will be for exhibition games depending on who gets scheduled.)
